Owls' Silent Flight Experiment: How Can Owls Hunt in Silence Mode?
Owls have some fairly iconic tricks up their wings, including 270-degree head turning. But they’re also masters of silent flight, able to swoop down on their prey unnoticed. How are they hunting so silent? With the help of Kensa the barn owl and flying experiments in a soundproof lab, we explore the science behind the silence. Learn about owls’ unique wing adaptations - and how both owl and rodent hearing has had an evolutionary impact.

How Invasive Ants Disrupt Lions’ Hunting Behavior
Просмотров 61 тыс.21 день назад
In Kenya lions are changing their hunting strategy because of an invasive ant species. The lions of Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya, always hunted zebra. Until recently, when scientists observed a change in their diet: buffalo now seems to be their favorite. But why? Incredibly, this dietary shift has to do with tiny residents of the savanna: big-headed ants. These invasive insects are slowly alte...

Beaver are best and innocent
Hi @rohitverma6874! They are really awesome! 🦫
They are naughtily cute❤❤
There’s a beautiful cycle of life out in wild, so called “civilised” are the only ones not living in accordance to nature!! Quite unfortunate‼️
Hi @somepath410! Nature is just fascinating, right?
These little creatures are reshaping their environment and making life more sustainable for everyone in the proccess. While us humans, when we change the environment, everything gets polluted or destroyed. We should learn from them.
Hi @koreano3750! And they make it for FREE! 🦫 Humans could really learn from them.
Some grandpa beaver is telling war stories to his grandkids about parachuting in like he was in WW2 😂
So sad that the Europeans came over hear and hunted down so many for fur hats.
Hi @daltongalloway! But luckily, the beavers made a remarkable comeback! 🦫
They definitely didn't show the negative side effects of beavers, in south America there is too many beavers and they're destroying so many trees and land.
I'm in need of your prayers and positive energy. Please keep me in your thoughts.
So annoying when people say "it can be seen from space".... HEY GENIUS! YOU CAN SEE MY FUCKING BICYCLE FROM SPACE! 😂
Not that many are released by owners, these birds are expensive to buy.
Mama bear
❤️🐻
And there my Engineer friend... Always search in google for every silly answer😂
2:04 GAYYYY😂😂😂😂😂😂
CRAZY!
right?!
In the recent (bogus, pre organized and set up) Supreme Court case Sackett V EPA the Supreme Court of the United States ruled against scientific knowledge and judgement that HALF of the wetlands in the United States are no longer FEDERALLY considered wetlands and no longer have FEDERAL protection. HALF!!! The case was part of a larger strategy by corporations and rich right wing businesses to weaken federal regulatory bodies like the EPA and SEC and make the issues "states rights" issues so theu can then weaken and corrupt each states protections one by one.
the beaver is the national animal of Canada, appearing on currency and national insignia like coats of arms
Hi @coldlakealta4043! That's so cool! Are you living in Canada?
Who doesn’t love a good beaver
Hi @apollo24zz! 🦫🦫🦫
Father gets out of prison, comes and goes ,seeing wife and kids when possible, now before he goes back in clink,he's got to stop his son from been randy with is sisters ,and his missus the his father has to take on on hard men before back to finish his sentence off, just like the Jeremy Kyle show or if USA...Jerry springer😂
Safe sex , no domestic violence and no child support. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
NASA studies beavers, while Americans go hungry from Bidenomics. Fake moon landings, beaver studies . . . what a waste.
Rip to the beaver that died falling by parachute
Hi @tashriquekarriem8865! Sadly, he opened the box before he landed. But all the others survived!
Well ... I'm rooting for the Orcas
We get you
omg you always see their lodge behind the dam, thats hilarious
Hi @SunnyD31! Their buildings are quite impressive, right?
Tai Long n Tai Weng
Among the big cats, lions are the most risk takers and use more energy and muscle power in their hunts.
🤓
Griz dont like farm raised only wild caught 😂
crazy video! very impressive.
Hi @jbiliHacker! Thanks for watching! If you want to see more you can check out our climate hero playlist! (:
Where’s the blue part 😂
It's the somewhat silvery brindling on the bears, I think? Grey is regularly called Blue in animals due to the fact that it can look blue in certain lighting conditions (see: Russian Blue Cat). I don't know, though.
Hi @gmoburrito6090! We're going to make you more confused: The Tibetan Blue Bear is a subspecies of brown bear :D
I officially hate gulls now, ive always had a distast for them but after watching multiple videos about Puffins.. i wish we could somehow remove them from that area for good.
This is amazing
Hi @UKD43! Beavers rock, right? :)
@@terramater natures way of land management. It just blows my mind. I can only wonder how many species thrive as a result of them beavering away. We as humans have a cheek to call anything a pest or invasive. We have a lot of bad habits to unlearn in my opinion.
Which Engineering college these beavers go to ???
Hi @athensmajnoo3661! University of Woodland? ;)
if we destroy that dam how long will it take for them to rebuild it now?
why not use technology to reproduce as many as possible?
I swear, these guys have super strength. We had a dumpster that has a very heavy lid, I can barely open it without using two hands and sometimes, when I open it, there seems to be a raccoon trapped or managed to get inside, its always a surprise 😅😅
🤣🤣🤣 we wished you had film it!
Elephants with googly eyes was something that i didn't know i needed to see, but now that i have I'm glad i did🥰
❤️
That alone bever had s ex with another rodent and new hybrid species born. To them this bever is god😅
❤❤great work for everyone ❤❤❤
This video is outdated. Israel is indeed already refilling the Sea of Galilee with desalinated water. They’re sharing tons of Galilee’s freshwater with Jordan, so where’s the crisis?
6:41 Smokey the bear told me that only I could prevent wild fires... f******* liar
As a child, I found one in a field brought it home with me and raised it, didn't know it was a fox just though it was a dog, he was my keeper and guard wanted to go everywhere I went, unfortunetly a police office found him skinned alive on the side of the road across our house, said it was probably done by a truck driver. I cryed forever. still miss him.
I hope this isn't clickbait and that there's a satellite view. Ok... shut my mouth! 🙂 I'd rather there be 7.2 billion beavers and a few million people who would appreciate and benefit from their evolutionary imperative.
There plenty vicious all by themselves heavy and powerful bite nasty attitude roll and twist like lightning !!
i love the editing 😍
You can see anything if you zoom in like that you asstard
We should use solar powered or evaporation desalination plants and only solar plants.
If it was the size of a lawn chair, you could see it from space. You can see everything from space.
